Invented in the Middle Ages, stained glass is a glass composition made up of pieces of glass. These can be white or colored. The role of stained glass is to diffuse light and color.

After observing the castle's stained-glass windows, make your own stained-glass window from tracing paper and play with transparency and light reflections.
