"Defending ancestral waters" brings back to life stories that were formed and then disappeared in contact with an expanse of water. Hera Bu¨yu¨ktas¸ciyan gives us a poetic and sensitive reading of the territory that welcomes her. The exhibition explores the agency of the non-human, examining fragments of social, environmental and cultural history and their traces, in relation to the morphological dynamics of water and what it carries in its currents.
