For several years now, Thierry and Cathy have been developing their 2,000 m² garden, made up of different areas and located on the edge of a mill reach. An orchard has been installed, featuring fig, apple, pear, apricot and peach trees, as well as table grapes. Part of the garden is left uncultivated, to encourage plant and animal biodiversity. As the garden is an LPO refuge garden, numerous nesting boxes have been installed to welcome chickadees and redstarts, as well as insects with bumblebee nesting boxes and insect refuges. Thierry has also built a pond in his garden to welcome frogs, dragonflies and other aquatic species.
