Alongside the Loire Valley Wines’ House  and 110 wine cellars to visit in Tours Loire Valley, there’s a whole host of wine bars where your clients can sample a few expertly chosen vintages from the Loire Valley vineyards. Here are our top 5.

Wine bars in Tours…

Le Bistrot des Belles Caves: as well as 6 shops in Tours Loire Valley, the Belles Caves network also has this trendy wine bar nestled perfectly near the famous Place Plumereau. The guests step inside for a glass of wine in the first room or dinner in the second dining room…one thing could easily lead into the next!

La Cave de l’Hédoniste: next door to L’Hédoniste Restaurant, the extension devoted to fine wine serves a menu mainly showcasing wine from the Loire Valley with 300 options. Again, the clients can slake their thirst at the wine bar before sitting down at the restaurant for excellent food-wine pairing tips.

…and in the surrounding area!

Cave des Silènes: recently opened near the Forteresse Royale de Chinonthis wine bar serves a great selection of 16 wines by the glass with tasty treats from the blackboard and delicious bruschetta. Wine from the Charles Joguet estate is also available to buy on-site.

Café de la Promenade: help yourself to a drink in the cellar! That’s the USP from Ludovic and Sophie Ragot who moved to Bourgueil a few years ago in the heart of the famous appellation so dear to Jean Carmet. The idea is that the guests help themselves to delicious drinks to pair with their “hambourgueil” for example. Yes, this is where the Bourgueillotherapy begins!

Chez Bruno: the Chanteloup estate showcases its vintages at this wine bar in the heart of Amboise alongside other great tipples from the Loire Valley. Word of mouth has made its value for money well-known: booking recommended.
