Your first memory

Outings with friends to go to the movies, then to a bar in downtown Tours for a good beer, the evenings would wrap up with some good vinyl music, we would all share our latest finds.

Name a place

Place Plumereau in Tours, for its excellent architecture and because something is always going on. It's a place where both tourist groups and students from the nearby universities mingle naturally. A must-see in Tours!

Name a person you have met

So many people and faces... especially friends who were loyal despite my ten-year work-related absence. It's great to be back in Touraine!

Tell us about an unforgettable moment

Fishing along the lakes of northern Touraine: an early morning arrival, waiting for the sun to rise so that we could finally cast our lines, followed by a hearty snack, special times that won't be forgotten.

A pleasant surprise

The interest that Touraine natives have in beer and their acceptance of it, which is a reflection of our strong culinary identity.

Name a savour

Fresh, homemade "rillons fondant", for a casual starter or with salad as a first course.  Another must-do here in Touraine!

A photo opportunity

Without a doubt, a photo of the Loire at the end of the day, with the sand banks and wild vegetation... and in the background, the silhouette of the Saint Gatien cathedral in Tours, when the Wilson bridge is lit up.
