"L'Indre à Vélo" & other bicycle tourism routes
The great thing about "Loire à Vélo" is that direct links to many other cycling routes are available as well as loops that make it possible to take short trips (a few hours) that start and end in the same place.
L'Indre à vélo: Azay-Le-Rideau/Loches/Chenonceau by bike
The "l'Indre à Vélo" path starts in Azay-le-Rideau. Linked to its "big sister" at both ends, the loop runs for 100 km along the edge of the Indre river valley, on quiet roads that are marked and secure.
The various legs of this easy, captivating route will take you past many quaint villages, rustic landscapes and several significant tourist attractions (Azay-le-Rideau castle, the Montbazon keep, the Royal city of Loches...). You can also ride several loops from the "L'Indre à Vélo" path, in particular around the Azay-le-Rideau chateau and Loches.
