In a 14 hectare park with its ornemental lake, the Pagoda (built in 1775) is all that remains of the great château belonging to the Duke of Choiseul.

The 36 metre high keep, a masterpiece of Middle-Age military architecture, was erected by Fulk Nerra, count of Anjou, in early 11 century. Splendid view of the town. Prison and underground.
